Tipperary truck show – Dualla, Cashel

/ / General Blog

Doyle concrete showing support for local events – all the crew that attended the show had great time. We entered three of our trucks into the 1St ever Tipperary Truck Show.  There was a big panic on, so we had to have our brand New Hino Mixer Ready for the show. We collected the truck from Gethings Garage in Enniscorthy and met up with the Doyle Concrete Convoy to proceed  on up to Dualla for the Show.  The Show was well organised we parked up the three trucks and headed into Cashel for 1pm-2pm which ended up being a late one.  The Chipper had to be visited before we headed back to the Show Grounds.   When we returned to the trucks there was great sport going on with all the truckers blowing horns and Flashing light all night long.  Hotel Hino was not the most comfortable place we have ever stayed.  The three boys slept like babies in the Horse Truck.  Our heads where in a terrible way the next day but the lovely ladies at the breakfast tent looked after us very well.

There was great interested in our new Truck it’s the 1st in Ireland it has an extra lifting axle which allows us to carry 10m3 of concrete without this axle the truck can only carry 7.5m3 which will be of a great benefit to both the Company. Customer won’t have to wait for a balance.  We were parked up beside Gleesons Concrete they had a lot of questions on the New Truck.
